Clean Eating Pizza Burgers 21 Day Fix Extreme Approved

Tim and I are currently on the 21 Day Fix Countdown to Competition plan.  What does that mean??? Every two days we are eating nothing but protein and veggies, 1 carb, no sugar (even natural sugars) and no sodium whatsoever.  On the third day we get to eat from the 21 Day Fix Extreme plan! So when I asked Tim what he wanted on day 3 he enthusiastically said pizza burgers! I made them last night for dinner and decided I MUST share the recipe with you!  Here goes...

Combine 1 pound of ground turkey, 4 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, 3 tablespoons of Bragg's apple cider vinegar, and sprinkle with McKormick's Chicago Steak Seasoning.  Mix well!
Form your patties in a baking dish!
Top your patties with tomato sauce.  I use organic! Make sure that there is no added sugar.  Read those labels!
Top your burgers with shredded mozzarella! I shred my mozzarella myself to ensure there are no preservatives in my cheese!
Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes.  Please check to see if the burgers are done as oven temps may vary!
Enjoy!!!  We usually eat our turkey burgers with oven roasted spaghetti squash or sweet potato fries! 

Pizza Burgers
1 lb ground turkey
4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
3 tablespoons Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar
Dash of McCormick's Chicago Steak Seasoning
Organic tomato sauce
1/4 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

1) Combine 1 pound of ground turkey, 4 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, 3 tablespoons of Bragg's apple cider vinegar, and sprinkle with McCormick's Chicago Steak Seasoning.  Mix well!
2) Form your patties in a baking dish!
3) Top your patties with tomato sauce. 
4) Top your burgers with shredded mozzarella!
5) Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes.  Please be sure to check and see if the burgers are done to your liking as oven temps may vary!
