Cynthia's Super Easy Hummus Recipe!!!


Hummus lovers everywhere...
Here is a quick and easy hummus recipe for you and your sweet family from my dear friend, Cynthia! When I meal prep, I have to make several batches because I CANNOT keep this in the house! 

Ingredients
1 can of garbanzo beans
1 clove of garlic
1 TBS extra virgin olive oil
1/2 a squeezed lemon
Dash of salt to taste
Dash of paprika

Optional ingredients...
Roasted red peppers OR
Kalamata olives OR


Drain your garbanzo beans (chick peas) into a bowl.  Add the beans into your blender along with all other ingredients.  Add a tiny bit of liquid at a time and pulse.  Keep in mind you can keep adding the liquid but you CANNOT take the liquid out.  So add a bit at a time to allow the blades to blend and get the consistency you desire.  

Optional...
You can add roasted red peppers for Roasted Red Pepper Hummus or Kalamata olives for an Olive Hummus.  If you add paprika, again do a little at a time and taste.  It's easy to make the hummus too spicy by adding too much! 

Enjoy with your favorite veggies, pita bread or chips, or tortillas!
